The overall value of a divorce case varies depending on whether it is a divorce by mutual consent – which can be decreed at a Civil Registry Office or a divorce without the consent of one of the spouses, which will run in court.

For mutual consent, it is necessary for spouses to agree on several issues:

– the divorce decision;
– the exercise of parental responsibilities for minor children;
– the allocation of the family home;
– fixing the maintenance allowance to the spouse who needs it, and
– the fate of pet animals.

If there is an agreement, the process may run in any Civil Registry Office, with the total amount of emoluments payable to the Registry, in the amount of € 280.00.

The ex-couple may also decide to make the marital sharing simultaneously with the divorce, in which case, the total amount of the fee is € 625.00.
